Robin Jeep | Internationally Trained Chef, Author & Founder of Vibrant Cuisine

Robin Jeep | Internationally Trained Chef, Author & Founder of Vibrant Cuisine Robin Jeep is an internationally trained chef and a former marketing director for Whole Foods Market. She has prepared healthy, gourmet cuisine for well-known celebrities such as Paul McCartney, Peter Max, Mikhail Baryshnikov and Seal.

As a model and a steeplechase jockey trainee in Europe, she discovered low-calorie and nutrient rich eating. Robin has since seen people recover from diseases once thought incurable. After years of traveling and numerous culinary experiences, she settled into a career of teaching people how to reclaim their health with delicious healthy cuisine.

Richard Couey, PhD | Cell Physiologist, Author & Fitness Consultant | Scientific Advisor

Richard Couey, PhD | Cell Physiologist, Author & Fitness Consultant Richard Couey, PhD, is a University health science professor and author of 25 books on nutrition, physical fitness, wellness, spirituality and golf. His two most recent books are: Living Longer: The Magic of Enzymes and Nutrition and The Happy Cell.

Richard was a professional baseball player for the Chicago Cubs, has served as an exercise physiology consultant to the U.S. Olympic Team, and is a former member of the President's Commission on Physical Fitness and Sports. He has designed nutrition, fitness, and weight-loss programs for many professional organizations.

In addition to his full-time career as a professor, he travels nationally and internationally as a consultant and public speaker on nutritional science and physical fitness.

Sherie Pitman Ellington | Author, Consultant

The daughter of medical missionaries, Sherie first witnessed the effects of preventable illness and poor nutrition as a child growing up in Nigeria. Sherie has worked in marketing communications for almost 25 years and has also freelanced as a newspaper columnist, graphic designer, website designer and instructor. She shares the message of health by maintaining a positive attitude, eating a nutritious diet and exercising regularly.

She earned her AA in Commercial Art & Advertising from Texas State Technical College, graduated summa cum laude with a BA from the University of Texas at Arlington and earned a Masters degree from San Francisco State University. She is also a graduate of Economic Development Institute.

Ian Ashley, MD | Board Certified Physician | Medical Advisor

Ian Ashley, MDAfter years of seeing patients seeking treatment for preventable illness, Emergency Room Physician Ian Ashley, MD, decided to team with Robin Jeep to develop a more holistic and individual approach to patient care. His enthusiasm, warm smile and youthful spirit encourage patients to make the diet and lifestyle changes necessary for optimal health.

Ian works as a fulltime emergency room physician at Providence Health Center in Waco and serves as the director of emergency medicine education for the McLennan County Family Medicine Residency program. He received his doctorate in medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1996.

Chef Sergio Garcia | Owner & Chef, El Siete Mares Restaurant | Culinary Consultant

Chef Sergio GarciaChef Sergio prepares Robin’s delicious Vibrant Cuisine menu for in-restaurant dining at El Siete Mares as well as Vibrant Cuisine To Go meals. He was raised in Veracruz, Mexico, on a super antioxidant diet.His love for good food led him to the United States where he trained under the famous Chef Geoffrey Michaels. He opened his own restaurant, El Siete Mares, ten years ago and word spread quickly.

His delicious cuisine has become well known around the country and has been requested for President Bush's press corps when Bush visits Texas. Sergio has been recognized in many publications, including Texas Monthly.

Michelle Chernoff Simon, M.Ed., MS, LPC, BCIAC| Board Licensed PsychotherapisEllen Chernoff Simon is a board licensed psychotherapist who specializes in pain management, meditation, medical hypnosis, neurofeedback, biofeedback and interactive guided imagery. Her guided imagery programs are currently in use nationwide by insurance and healthcare providers to help patients manage pain, reduce stress, lower blood pressure, heal after surgery, quit smoking and lose weight.

Ellen is the founder and president of Imadulation International, LP, and owns a private practice in Richardson, Texas. She received her BA from the University of Texas at Austin and two Master degrees from the University of Memphis in 1980 and 1981. She is married and the mother of five children.
